How We Help Clients
Vehicle electrification strategy development
LDR worked with local government, industry, and academic leaders to develop a multi-year roadmap to achieve city-wide transportation electrification within a major U.S. metropolitan city. By facilitating working sessions with stakeholders ranging from Fortune 500 companies to grassroots electric vehicle
enthusiast groups — LDR helped to build a nationally recognized e-mobility initiative, representing a bold step for the region’s journey and commitment to becoming a leader in clean transportation.
Formation of a nonprofit public private partnership
Our team established cross-industry alignment, formalized organizational governance and identity, and created systems for new and existing stakeholder engagement to form a nonprofit public private partnership (P3). We established a vision, mandate, and interim leadership team, and aligned broader stakeholders around this vision to scale stakeholder efforts, which lead to the preparation for the launch event and post-launch operations.
Advancing foundation’s charitable initiatives
Across a major U.S. metropolitan city, we supported a foundation organization implement charitable initiatives and projects with a collective mission to help the region overcome economic, environmental, and equity challenges. By providing additional operational capacity, we successfully facilitated and
aligned the municipality, local nonprofit and for-profit organizations, and residents, to implement impactful city-wide projects.
Building Things We’re Proud of

Some cities are paving the way to getting beyond outdated governance and funding structures, creating viable alternatives to our antiquated institutions for distributing transportation resources.
Changing decades-old formulas for infrastructure funding and how the money is distributed are not new topics for discussion. As a nation, we have been arguing over this approach for more than a generation. While the importance of infrastructure makes intense debates appropriate, one critical element of such policy is often overlooked: the role and importance of large population clusters — “megaregions” — within and between adjoining states. The infrastructure debate must start including a discussion on how to further empower regional governing bodies to effectively accelerate megaregional infrastructure projects already identified as feasible and desired in local communities.
