Vehicle electrification strategy development

LDR worked with local government, industry, and academic leaders to develop a multi-year roadmap to achieve city-wide transportation electrification within a major U.S. metropolitan city. By facilitating working sessions with stakeholders ranging from Fortune 500 companies to grassroots electric vehicle

enthusiast groups — LDR helped to build a nationally recognized e-mobility initiative, representing a bold step for the region’s journey and commitment to becoming a leader in clean transportation.

Formation of a nonprofit public private partnership

Our team established cross-industry alignment, formalized organizational governance and identity, and created systems for new and existing stakeholder engagement to form a nonprofit public private partnership (P3). We established a vision, mandate, and interim leadership team, and aligned broader stakeholders around this vision to scale stakeholder efforts, which lead to the preparation for the launch event and post-launch operations.

Across a major U.S. metropolitan city, we supported a foundation organization implement charitable initiatives and projects with a collective mission to help the region overcome economic, environmental, and equity challenges. By providing additional operational capacity, we successfully facilitated and

Why Infrastructure Spending Should Empower Megaregions

Changing decades-old formulas for infrastructure funding and how the money is distributed are not new topics for discussion. As a nation, we have been arguing over this approach for more than a generation. While the importance of infrastructure makes intense debates appropriate, one critical element of such policy is often overlooked: the role and importance of large population clusters — “megaregions” — within and between adjoining states. The infrastructure debate must start including a discussion on how to further empower regional governing bodies to effectively accelerate megaregional infrastructure projects already identified as feasible and desired in local communities.
